The cheque for £6,500.00 which was presented to Ann Cardwell on behalf of the group at the Charity Ball on Saturday 5th March 2016 has given such a massive boost to funds to this small local charity.

“Not only have we received financial reward but during the past year a lot more people have been made aware of the existence of the support group and the support which we can provide to carers of people of people living with dementia in the Mid Ulster Area,” said Ann.

The group decided to publish the book to make carers of people living with dementia aware that they as a support group are here if and when you need to call on them for help, support and a listening ear, maybe just to rant about how you are feeling and coping.
