Put yourself up for public roles: FWIN

Foyle Women's Information Network coordinator, Catherine Cooke, is urging more women to apply for public appointments.

“I know there are plenty of women out there who have thought about applying for a public appointment but have been put off by the process or because they thought they couldn’t do it.

“We really want women to rethink the whole idea of public appointments and realise that they have the skills and abilities to apply. This workshop will teach women about the public appointment process and hopefully encourage them to have the confidence to put themselves forward.”

A workshop will be held in the Holywell Building on Bishop Street, at 11am on Tuesday, April 26.
