Public artwork for Moyle villages

Six rural villages throughout Moyle will have the opportunity to showcase their various cultures and identities through the production of permanent pieces of art.

This project is supported by Moyle District Council’s Good Relation’s Strategy and funded by the PEACE III Programme managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the North East PEACE III Partnership.

Are you a member of a community group in a rural village within the Moyle district?

Would you and your friends enjoy the opportunity to create a shared public space which will enhance your village’s attractiveness and tell its story - past or present?

If so, Moyle District Council is offering a facilitated programme of locally held workshops which explore personal and community identities.

Katherine Workman, recently appointed Cohesion Officer, stated: “This is a programme, targeted at non-profit making, voluntary or community organisations. I would encourage all villages to apply for the opportunity to be part of this exciting new community project”

If your group would like to register their interest, obtain an application form or get more information, please contact Katherine at Moyle District Council on 028 2076 2225 or email: [email protected].

Completed Application Forms must be submitted by 3 pm on 6 April.
