PSNI probe origin of ‘UDA recruitment posters’ in Magherafelt

The PSNI are investigating the origin of posters which appeared in the Leckagh housing estate, Magherafelt, calling for volunteers to rid the estate of drug dealers , housebreakers and paedophiles.

Sinn Fein Councillor Darrn Totten claimed the posters were UDA recruitment posters which would heighten tensions in the area.

While DUP Councillor Anne Forde advised residents to go through the proper procedures in addressing any issues they have.
