PSNI probe assault at a Lurgan hotel

Police are probing an assault at a Lurgan hotel during which a man was assaulted.

The PSNI in Lurgan said the man was assaulted inside the Ashburn Hotel on Sunday May 4.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “A male was standing at the bar with his sister when another male confronted him.

“The injured party was then assaulted by the offender who attacked him with a bottle.

“The offender was later identified by police.

“Police are appealing for any further witnesses to come forward with regards this assault on this date.

Lurgan Police canbe contacted on the new 101 number.”
