Progress on forensic labs at Seapark
Justice Minister David Ford has viewed progress on the construction of a new £14million laboratory at the Forensic Science Northern Ireland (FSNI) site at Seapark.
Construction is due to be completed during September 2015 and fitted out and fully operational by March 2016.
Stan Brown, chief executive of FSNI, said that when fully operational the laboratory would be a state-of-the-art building for DNA processing and evidence recovery facilities.
