Possible link between Ballycastle incidents

POLICE are probing possible links between a number of incidents which happened in Ballycastle over the weekend.

At 8.55am on Saturday police received a report of three youths, who “appeared to be high on drugs”, running around the Whitepark Road in front of traffic.

A vehicle was damaged.

Two people from the Belfast area were arrested for attempted vehicle theft.

Also at the weekend cars and caravans were damaged in the Silvercliffs Caravan Park and a bicycle was stolen.

And at 1.24am on Saturday a woman told police she parked her car at a carpark at North Street, Ballycastle, at 10.30pm on Friday and after she heard youths around 1am and found a dent in the passenger door of the vehicle.
