Damage to shelters
Sinn Féin Bushvale candidate Anita Cavlan has condemned the damage to two bus shelters on the Frosses Road.
Ms Cavlan said: “On the Frosses Road at Dunloy Cross there are two bus shelters on either side of the road. Both of these have been shattered, in what seems to be an act of wanton vandalism.
“This affects the whole community as workers, students, the elderly will now have to put up with waiting for buses in often miserable weather with nothing to shelter them. I am putting pressure on Translink to repair the damage, but at a time of heavy cuts it angers me that due to vandalism monies will now have to be diverted to this.”
