Police praise Irish Open visitors
Police would like to thank everyone who has attended the first three days of this year’s Irish Open golf Championship at Royal Portrush, for their continued co-operation in using the Park and Ride facility in place.
The Park and Ride facility is to ensure the smooth running of the ongoing traffic operation and the golfing event. Road signs are in place along the route to Royal Portrush highlighting the areas of operation.
With the adverse weather conditions affecting Thursday’s play, police would also like to thank those attending for their patience and understanding, because of the interuption.
Police would continue to request that the public use the facilities as directed.
