Police continue to attend report of suspicious object in Ballymoney

Police continue to attend a report of a suspicious object at the Ballymena Road, Ballymoney are this afternoon (Monday 30th June).

Army bomb experts at a scene on the Ballymena Road in Ballymoney early this morning after a device was discovered. It is beleived to be a pipe bomb.PICTURE MARK JAMIESON.

ATO have been tasked to the scene and a controlled explosion has been carried out. A number of homes have been evacuated. Motorists are advised to seek alternative main routes for their journey.
