Police appeal over accident

At approximately 5.25pm on Monday, February 8, two cars, a blue Mercedes C240 and grey Kia Rio, were involved in a collision at the junction of Edward Street.

The woman driver of one of the cars was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them. They are particularly interested in hearing from the woman driver of a black Mazda 3 car who offered the use of her mobile phone to call the emergency services.
