Police appeal for information after dog is hit by a car
Constable Michael Brannigan, Banbridge Response, explained: “We received a report of an injured dog on Dromore Road at 6.55am on Wednesday, September 3.
“We believe the dog, named Colin, was hit by a vehicle which did not stop.

“Unfortunately Colin’s injuries were so serious that he had to be put to sleep.
“This collision occurred on the Banbridge side of Ballyvalley Heights and I am asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has noticed damage on a vehicle which would normally travel this route to contact us on the 101 non- emergency number.”
