Police appeal after attempted car-jacking

DETECTIVES in Lisburn are appealing for information following an attempted car hijacking in the Glenbawn Place area of Poleglass in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A taxi driver picked up two males in the Woodside View shortly before 1.30am. In Glenbawn Place one of the men produced a firearm and threatened the driver. He escaped un-injured but was left badly shaken in the incident.

One of the males is described as being 20-25 years old, 5’9” tall with black hair and acne-scarred skin. The second male is described as being 20-25 years old, 6’ tall, with ginger hair.
