Update to Moira road closure

Police have issued an update after a road was closed in the Moira area on Saturday.

In a brief statement just before 5pm on Saturday, police said the Drumbane Road is closed between the junction with Colane Road and the junction with Station Road “due to an ongoing incident”.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.

This morning a PSNI spokesperson confirmed the Drumbane Road has now reopened.
