Thompson House patients receive generous donation of six new televisions
Thompson House, a local treatment and rehabilitation centre for patients with severe disabling neurological illnesses and brain injury, receive generous donation.
Thompson House, a treatment and rehabilitation centre for patients with severe disabling neurological illnesses and brain injury, have been on the receiving end of a generous donation recently.
It comes as charity ''Friends and Relatives of Thompson House'' pulled together funds donated by relatives to purchase six new televisions for the use by patients receiving treatment in this facility.
The generous donation comes as the treatment and rehabilitation centre has been in existence at its present site on the Magheralave Road in Lisburn since the 1880's and is an important regional facility, which is also part of the South Eastern Trust.
Chairman David Savage of ''Friends and Relatives of Thompson House'' is seen here presenting the TVs to staff nurse Fiona Connolly much to the delight of the patients.
