Doagh Barbershop closed for deep clean

A Co Antrim barbershop has closed for a deep clean after a person from a client’s household tested positive for the coronavirus.

Doagh Barbershop, located on Exchange Avenue in the village, is set to be closed for the next two days following the positive diagnosis.

The owner of the salon, Natalie, took to social media today (Tuesday) to provide an update on the situation.

She said: “Someone was in yesterday and somebody in their household has tested positive for coronavirus.

“Due to being so close contact, the shop will be closed for the next couple of days for a deep clean and also while I get tested myself.

“Fingers crossed with all the PPE in place in the shop, it should be okay.

“But just to be safe, everyone that has an appointment in the next 48 hours will be cancelled. I will message everyone who was in after this client.

“Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but I don’t want to put any of my clients at risk.”
