Wardens put me off

HAVING been to the bank, I recently returned to my car a couple of minutes past 4pm to find a ticket had been just been issued.

I checked the time my ticket had expired, which was 15.58 and the ticket had been issued at 16.00. Seeing my annoyance at having a £60 parking fine stuck to my window, a lady told me that the warden had only left and pointed him out.

I walked over to the warden to ask why he was so prompt in issuing tickets, only to be told that ‘issue of tickets was instant and that there was no grace to be shown’.

This has totally put me off visiting Lisburn City Centre, which costs money to park in and is inconvenient.

Maybe when the John Lewis store is built at Sprucefield, which has free parking, and there are no cars parking in Lisburn City Centre, perhaps the Traffic Wardens will show more leniency to the paying public.
