Barbour playing fields are left in a mess
GLAD to see your story about the state of local playing fields.
Barbour playing fields are left a mess every single weekend by footballers. I take my dog to those fields and some day a dog is going to get injured by the rubbish left by them.
I pick up my dog’s poo from the playing fields as a courtesy to the people/footballers who will be using it, so I fail to see why they cannot pick up plastic ties, cones, clothes, tins, bottles etc when there are bins and changing facilities provided. Not to mention the school kids peeing in the hedges surrounding the playing fields.
