Open carol service for Davy’s appeal

NEW ROW Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, is playing host to an interdenominational carol service next month.

The event will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, December 2nd, with all proceeds in aid of no fewer than nine different charities.

The recipients have been chosen by Coleraine’s Caring Caretaker, Davy Boyle MBE, whose annual sit-out each December raises thousands of pounds for worthy causes.

This year Davy is hoping to raise £55,000 to benefit Chest Heart and Stroke, Parkinson’s Society, Cystic Fibrosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Ulster Cancer Foundation, Age Concern, Autism NI, Children to Lapland and Zest.

Since January the Caring Caretaker has raised £25,000 and is hoping to bring in the remainder through end of year events such as the carol service and his annual sit-out which begins on December 5 and runs to Christmas Evening (excluding Sundays).

Please feel free to drop down and give Davy a donation.
