NW MS sufferers regularly judged

More than two in five people with multiple sclerosis (MS) surveyed in NI have been challenged by the general public for parking in a disabled bay - even though they’re eligible.

Clíona Evans, aged 29, from Londonderry, was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS nine years ago.

People can be very quick to judge. I’ve had people stare at me parking in a disabled spot and shout even with my children present ‘that’s not a parent and toddler space young lady,” she said.
