Newtownabbey men awarded MBEs in Queen’s Birthday Honours list

Councillor Billy Webb of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, who was Mayor of Newtownabbey from 2012 until 2013, will receive an MBE for services to local government and the community.

The Alliance party member has been a representative for the Macedon area since 1997.

Also receiving an MBE is Chairman of the Board of Governors of Hazelwood Integrated College Trevor Parkhill, who was recognised for services to education in Northern Ireland.
