New kitchens for over 50 homes
MORE than 50 Housing Executive homes in rural areas are receiving a kitchen makeover. Bann Ltd, the Housing Executive's AEC contractor for South Area, has started work on a £228,000 contract to upgrade kitchens over a period of 13 weeks.
Housing manager Colin Ross said:“We are delighted this scheme has been given the go-ahead as part of the extra 6 million funding for social housing announced by the Minister for Social Development, Margaret Ritchie MLA last December.
“The Housing Executive is committed to providing modern, comfortable homes for its tenants and to continue to support rural communities in the Craigavon District.”
