New Chamber of Commerce president elected

Lisburn businessman Jonathan Steen has been elected the new President of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce following the recent annual general meeting.

Lisburn businessman Jonathan Steen has been elected the new President of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce following the recent annual general meeting.

The former vice-president was elected unanimously and will follow in the footsteps of Stephen Houston from GMcG Accountants.

Mr Steen is a Director of Templeton Robinson estate agents and has been a Chamber Executive member for a number of years. Elected vice-president was Mr Evan Morton from Concept Advertising & Design.

Commenting on his election as President, Mr Steen said: “It is an honour to be handed this prestigious position as the figurehead for the Chamber of Commerce in Lisburn.

“Together with the new executive committee, I plan to develop and expand the Chamber’s activities and we will be launching a recruitment campaign in the New Year.

“The Chamber provides a voice for business owners throughout the Greater Lisburn area and I look forward to engaging with many of our members during my term of office.”
