New business improvement scheme launch

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) has announced a joint business improvement programme with the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) aimed at preparing businesses for independent Investors in People (IiP) assessment and accreditation.

The Investors in People Standard is the mark of excellence in management practice, with the 10 indicators set out in the framework being the ingredients for success in any organisation.

The programme, which is part-funded by LCCC and DEL, will offer SME’s located in the new Council area the opportunity to prepare for assessment against the Investors in People Framework.
