Nationwide award for local dentist

The UK Dentistry awards were held two weeks ago in Leicester and the local team were thrilled to not only be shortlisted for an award but to bring the trophy home to Dunmurry.

In addition they received Highly Commended for Best Practice in Northern Ireland and Scotland, and were the only Northern Ireland practice shortlisted for Best Patient Care.

Philip McLorinan from Dunmurry Dental Practice commented after the prestigious nationwide ceremony: “We have won many awards in the past, but this award is special as it shows that we have come out on top when put into a competition with our Scottish neighbours.

“We are delighted to have our commitment to quality dental care for our patients recognized at a national level.”

The Team award criteria recognises ‘a great team atmosphere and approach to patient care, investment in team development and training, a team that goes above and beyond regular duty of care, with great feedback from patients’.

Dunmurry Dental Practice was originally a domestic house, built in the early 1900s, until it was converted it to a single surgery dental practice in 2004.

The business has since grown from strength to strength and is now an award winning dental practice, serving thousands of patients from the Belfast and Lisburn areas.
