Moyle Council are 'tv stars'

THE attractions in the Moyle Council area are being promoted in a series of plasma-screen adverts in George Best Belfast City Airport and a number of bus and train stations across Northern Ireland.

But Cllr Oliver McMullan (Sinn Fein) said the attractions are not being promoted at Larne Harbour.

Council officer Kevin McGarry said the company involved with the plasma-screens - On Screen Solutions - perhaps don’t have such a facility at Larne Harbour.

Council Chairperson, Cllr Cara McShane said there were none of the adverts in facilities west of the Bann “but we are definitely reaching out to a lot more areas.”.

Councillor Price McConaghy said there were no screens at Belfast International Airport but Mr McGarry said On Screen Solutions were unable to set up a facility there.

Moyle Council pays 3,000 a year and they get a 30-second ad each hour during business hours at each location.
