More than 3,000 owe rates, says Minister
More than 3,300 people are in rates arrears in Coleraine, according to official figures released to the Assembly.
Following a written question tabled by East Londonderry DUP MLA George Robinson, the Minister of Finance and Personnel Simon Hamilton provided statistics for Coleraine, Limavady, Ballymoney and Moyle.
In the Coleraine Council area, as of March 31 this year, the number owing rates was 3,334, Limavady 2,113, Ballymoney 1.310 and Moyle 805.
The figures include occupancies with domestic or non-domestic debt.
