Man dies in car on Antrim Road
A MAN has died in what is believed to have been a tragic accident in Lurgan just before lunchtime yesterday (Wednesday).
That man, who has not yet been named, was in a silver 4X4 travelling along the Antrim Road at around 11.30am.
A woman who loves close to the scene said she heard a bout of acceleration followed by a thud.
It is understood the man died at the scene.
A police Land Rover and an ambulance vehicle screened off the vehicle to the passing public.
Police cordoned off the area for a number of hours.
