Lucius puts pen to paper to win £10,000 scholarship

LISBURN man Lucius Winslow recently put pen to paper and scooped a £10,000 prize to pay for a scholarship to BPP Law School in London.

Lucius, who is completing a Masters in Politics at Queens University in Belfast, decided to enter the Lawyer 2B competition, which is run annually by The Lawyer magazine in conjunction with BPP Law School.

The Moira man, who attended Friends School in Lisburn before going on to study for an undergraduate degree in politics, had to write an essay about the legitimacy of the police in the aftermath of the phone hacking scandal.
