Local DUP visits Rectory Field
Foyle DUP MLA, Gary Middleton, along with Waterside Councillors Hilary McClintock and Drew Thompson have paid a visit to the Rectory Field residential home following the announcement of potential closure and seizure of admissions.
“I and my colleagues recently paid a visit to the home to show our support to the residents, staff and families of those at Rectory Field. We had an opportunity to speak directly with those who are currently in care and they made it clear that Rectory Field meant everything to them and their families.
“With over 30 staff employed through Rectory Field, it is important that they too are taken into account and heard. Over the coming weeks I will be making representation to the Health Minister in relation to both Rectory Field and William Street homes in Londonderry.”
