Local bands are invited to join forum

BALLYMENA Bands and Parades Forum would like to open its doors to more bands from the local area, the town bands are very well represented and have been aided and helped a great deal in recent times by the forum.

More bands from around the borough are asked to come into the next meeting and register an interest; this will take place in Harryville Partnership Offices, Larne Street on Thursday, April 15 at 8.00pm sharp.

Many benefits are there for the bands from the Ballymena area and further a field. A direct line of contact is made from the local forum to the Confederation of Ulster Bands (CUB) who in turn take the voice of all of Ulster’s marching bands to government level and media alike.
