Lisburn hair company among awards in London

A LISBURN hair company is celebrating after making it to the L’Oreal Colour trophy grand final for the fourth time to represent Northern Ireland as well as adding to it’s cabinet of awards.

Natural Hair Company and sister branch Faith Hair Lisburn were among a select few salons to make it to the grand final at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. This is the fourth time they have been chosen to represent Northern Ireland and have put the region firmly on the map in the UK.

The brief was to create a female total look featuring a skilfully executed colour and cut inspired by the catwalk. Lynsey (Manager of Natural Hair Company) and Emma Louise (Senior Stylist) stepped up to the challenge coupled with Julie (Manager of Faith Hair) and Trudy (leading colourist in Natural Hair Company). The girls in unison knew they had a tough job on their hands. Martine Broggy Artistic Director of the Natural Hair Company/Faith Hair brand said: “They didn’t disappoint by walking away with the regional winner. To get to the grand final with one placement is fantastic, but to stand alongside the industries finest four times is unheard of. The team has been working so hard from January this year for the competition it is great to see it paying off.”

Earlier this year two of the team represented the province for the L’Oreal Young Colourist Award. The brief for this was to create a female look that demonstrates a fashion led colour and cut. Trudy and Leighanne - both leading colourists - had to produce a fashion led photo of their colour and cut and then go prove to the L’Oreal judging panel why they were streets ahead of their game and Trudy walked away with the regional winning title for Ireland.
