Lesson in planting for Killultagh women
Killutagh Women's Institute President Elizabeth Halliday welcomed members and had a special word for Maureen Wright at the recent May meeting.
The speaker was Pamela Wilkinson who was assisted by her daughter Kathleen in demonstrating planting hanging baskets and tubs.
Betty Connor, Elizabeth Halliday and Kay Wright were the competition winners for a spring posy in an egg cup.
Ballot winners were Elizabeth Hendron, Kay Wright, Betty Connor and Wilma Dougherty.
The birthday girl was Rosemary Downey, who gave her flowers to Gretta Campbell.
