Jumble to raise funds for new clubhouse

The event will take place at the club’s headquarters on Rodgers Quay on Sunday April 13.

New and used nautical bargains will be available, from general marine items such as anchors, outboards and propellers to rigging, sails and fasteners along with sailing books and charts.

A number of traders are expected to attend including Aqua Shak, Bosun Bobs, Causeway Tackle and Zen Marine.

The jumble will begin at 10am with an admission fee of £4. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the fund for the new clubhouse after the original building was destroyed by a fire in June 2012.

Any club members wishing to take a stall can do so through the website www.irishboatjumble.org/home. The club will also have a stall of its own for any items that members want to sell.
