The comments came at North Antrim Magistrates Court last Wednesday where 59-year-old builder Thomas Taggart of Main Street, Ballintoy, was fined 60 and given three penalty points for speeding on the Frosses Road.
He was detected driving at 79mph in the 60mph zone on January 20 this year.
