Indian culture at Kells & Connor WI
KELLS and Connor WI President Rosemary McAllister welcomed guests from Ballyclare,Crumlin, Broughshane, Carnmoney, Kilrea and Glengormley WI’s to the annual ‘visitors’ evening.
Manju Tandon was the speaker for the evening, entertaining members with her various selection of Indian Saris which members modelled. She brought along her niece who was very artistic applying henna tattoos to lots of the ladies. A delicious supper was served. Compettion Floral Jewellery was won by Dolly McDowell. The evening came to an end with the singing of A Country Womans Song.
