Global Village project

Thanks to funding from Ballymoney Council Good Relations Programme, pupils from Garryduff Primary School and St Patrick’s Primary School Loughgiel took part in a five week cross-community programme delivered by Corrymeela’s Schools Coordinator Matt Craig.

The programme, My Global Village, allowed the pupils to discover the richness that comes from learning about each other and different cultures.

The programme was enhanced by some lessons from Corrymeela’s wonderful international volunteers.

Following two sessions in Garryduff PS and two sessions in St Patrick’s PS, the pupils enjoyed a day of team building and adventure learning at Corrymeela’s centre in Ballycastle last Tuesday.
