Givan praises North Circular Road improvement work

LAGAN Valley MLA Paul Givan has welcomed a large Roads Service investment in the North Circular Road to complete drainage and resurfacing work.

He said the investment was part of an overall spend of approximately £4.5m across the greater Lisburn area over the last year.

Mr Givan said: “Investing in our roads infrastructure is essential action which must be taken. I have been lobbying on behalf of many constituents who have raised concerns about the condition of roads locally and the completion of North Circular Road is another success. The recent completion of a drainage and resurfacing scheme on the North Circular Road at a cost of approximately £100,000 is very much welcome. This busy route close to the centre of Lisburn is used on a daily basis by a significant number of motorists, many of whom have raised issues around the condition of the road. I am pleased that problems around flooding and drainage have been resolved and Roads Service should be commended for the standard of its completion.”
