Get set for Christmas across the city
With Christmas just around the corner, local community groups are getting ready to switch on their Christmas Tree Lights right across the City.
Under the Lisburn City Council’s Community Christmas Tree Grants Scheme, nineteen local groups have been working with the Council to organise Community Switch On events, which will begin on November 28 and run through to December 13.
Chairman of the Council’s Leisure Services Committee, Alderman Paul Porter said: “I’d like to thank everyone involved for their efforts and making events such as these possible. We are very much looking forward to celebrating Christmas right across the City.”
