Free comics this Saturday at City store

A recently opened Londonderry music shop will be giving away free comics this Saturday (May 3).

Mad About Music (MAD) on Carlisle Road will be bringing a ‘Free Comic Book Day’ event to the North West for the very first time.

MAD will also be having a special one-day sale on other comics, graphic novels and merchandise.

A store spokesperson said: “To add to the festivities, comic-creating guest artists will be sketching and signing in-store and some of your favourite superheroes may even make appearances for you to have your picture taken with!

“So bring your whole family along and have them sketched as superheroes.”

Free Comic Book Day takes place this Saturday, May 3. Doors open for the fun at 9am.
