Fined £120 for drug possession offence
A Waringstown man was fined £120 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for a drugs offence.
Phillip Robert George Harrison (39), Churchill Place, Waringstown, admitted possession of a class C drug, AM-2201 cannabinoid, on June 2 last year.
The court heard that a search was carried out at an address in William Street, Donaghacloney, and a plastic wrap containing the drug was found.
When arrested Harrison claimed it was a legal high which he had purchased in a shop. A forensic report indicated it was a class B drug.
