Festival time in Millburn and Ballysally

TWO Coleraine communities will come together later this month for a community festival.

Ballysally and Millburn will come alive to celebrate the area’s third annual community festival.

The festival will run from Monday June 18 to Friday June 22.

The week of activities has been organised by a number of groups - Focus on Family, Building Ballysally Together, Ballysally Cultural and Heritage Group, Ballysally Primary School, Ballysally Presbyterian Church, Ballysally Youth and Community Centre, Millburn Community Association and Coleraine SureStart Partnership.

Activities include theatre visits for the children, super learning days, sporting and social events plus music and dance.

Building Ballysally Together have organised a cultural evening and an exhibition. SureStart will once again be running their Teddy Bear’s Picnic. The festival will finish off with a family fun day at Focus on Family.

Thanks to the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure and Coleraine Borough Council for funding the event.
