Diversity drama brings a powerful message
The drama focussed on how people view difference and the challenges that brings to everyday life in school, at home or socially.
Husband and wife team Brian and Nicole of Dramability provided the coaching and support for the young people the majority of whom were treading the boards for the first time.

We were reminded very powerfully about the challenges and opportunities that come with living in a diverse society and how we regard and treat each other – truly a lesson for us all.
“It is also fantastic to see three local groups working together and we applaud those staff and volunteers who have worked to make this happen – well done!” Mr Alexander said.
Larne Mayor Gerardine Mulvenna congratulated the young people on a moving performance and said that she hoped this would be the first of many such joint projects between the groups.
This project received financial support from Larne Borough Council’s Community Relations Grant Programme with staff support from the Y Health Hub - the participating groups gratefully acknowledge this vital support.
