Devoted dad to walk 155k for Roddensvale

A KIND-hearted Larne man has set out to raise £35,000 to help build an outdoor play area for Roddensvale School.

Conrad Williams plans to take part in a gruelling 155-kilometre walk in September as part of a fundraising drive which will also include two charity events at the Eagle Bar.

And he is appealing for local people to donate to his worthy cause. He added: "I have a personal stake in all this. My son, Finlay, has cerebral palsy and attends Roddensvale. Not only do I want to help him, but also the many others who have been diagnosed with it."
