Criminal damage arrest

The 25-year-old, who has been bailed pending further enquiries, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning following reports of an incident at Castleburn Road. She is also suspected of possession of an offensive weapon.

Police are investigating a number of other reports of criminal damage.

An incident at a property at Downshire Avenue was reported to the PSNI at 9.30am on September 6.

Three incident involved vehicles: two cars parked in the Woodburn Avenue area had tyres slashed during the night of September 6 to 7, while vehicles were reported to have been damaged at McKeens Avenue and Davy’s Street on September 10 and 12 respectively.
