WYNCAIRN - A quantity of jewellery, a sum in cash and a Dell Inspiron laptop computer have been stolen from a house at Wyncairn Park.

The items were taken during a burglary that was discovered around 6.30pm on Thursday, January 28.

A window had been forced open. Anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area is asked to contact the police at Larne.

POUND STREET - Vandals have broken windows of five parked vehicles. The damage, which has been estimated at around 1,500, occurred sometime between Tuesday, January 26 and Saturday, January 30.

INVER - Police are investigating a report that several downpipes of a church at Inver Road in Larne were damaged and a window broken sometime over the weekend. Anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area is asked to contact the police at Larne.

BALLYBOLEY ROAD - Thieves have attempted unsuccessfully to steal the wheels from a number of vehicles parked at premises at a business park.

A fence was also damaged during the incident which was discovered around 12.30pm on Thursday, January 28.

CRAIGYHILL - A gold necklace and a gold wedding ring have been stolen from a flat at Shanlea Drive.

The jewellery was taken during a burglary that was discovered around 10am on Tuesday, January 26.

UPPER CAIRNCASTLE ROAD - Two 12 packs of Harp beer have been stolen from licensed premises. The theft occurred around 10.10pm on Tuesday, January 26, when a youth described as approximately 6’ tall, and who used a scarf to conceal his identity entered the premises and snatched the beer before running off. Anyone who noticed the culprit as he made off from the scene is asked to contact the police at Larne.

LINN ROAD - Stone throwers broke a bedroom window of a house at around 4.30am on Wednesday, January 27 and police at Larne are eager to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time.
