PSNI appeal for help to solve crime

Police in Foyle are asking the public for assistance in solving the following crimes.

A New Holland 14 tonne digger was set on fire at a yard off the Monnaboy Road in Eglinton sometime between 1pm on June 14th and 11.30am on June 17th.

A Mitsubishi pick up truck, registration UUI 3012, was stolen from premises on the Heather Road sometime after 1pm on June 15th and found burnt out on a laneway at the bottom of Blighs Lane on the morning of Monday, June 17th.

A motorcyclist reported being struck from behind by the driver of a white/silver car as he approached the Campsie roundabout on the Clooney carriageway around 4.15pm on June 16th. The cyclist was knocked from his bike but was not seriously injured. It is believed the driver of a blue car stopped to offer assistance. The officer investigating the incident is keen to hear from the driver who stopped to help or anyone who witnessed the collision.
