Cash and jewellery stolen from house in Larne

Sometime between 6pm and 10.20pm a house was broken into and a quantity of cash and jewellery was stolen.

Detective Sergeant Crothers said: “This burglary is being linked to an attempted burglary at a house in the Heatherdale Park area on the same evening, sometime between 6.15pm and 9.30pm.

“I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or who knows anything about either of these incidents, to contact detectives at Larne Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1337 of 25/10/16. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
