Cookstown man admits shoplifting charges

A Cookstown man has pleaded guilty to charges of shoplifting.

Tiernan McKenna, from Coolnafranky Park, stole from stores in Cookstown and Dungannon.

McKenna admitted stealing goods worth £56.06 from Tesco, £6.50 from Poundland, and goods to the value of £23.48 from Lidl, on July 14. He also admitted stealing goods worth £14 and £1 from Tesco and Poundland in December last year. The case was adjourned for sentencing reports.
