Construction company partners locally based charity

The construction company QMAC have launched a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland, which has its headquarters in Lisburn, by branding the doors of their company vehicles.

The initiative will help raise awareness and encourage more support for the charity’s work, which offers families a hand up out of poverty through simple, decent housing.

This is a first for Habitat NI and for QMAC, cementing a partnership which will help ‘slam the door’ on poverty housing.

Eddie O’Neill Managing Director of QMAC said: “We have chosen to partner with Habitat because their community building approach fits so well with our company ethos.

“We believe it will add value for our company and our people and, at the same time, help families in need locally and around the world.”

QMAC will also donate left-over building materials to Habitat ReStore; the low cost DIY store which helps local people improve their homes at prices they can afford and diverts tons of material from landfill.

QMAC will encourage staff, clients and their networks to get involved too.
